Sustainability and Ethical Standards

When starting out our business, it was important to have our designs made on high quality materials but also that were sustainable and ethically made.

We've meticulously selected a manufacture partner who share our commitment to ethical practices. Our partner adhere to stringent standards, ensuring fair wages, safe working conditions, and respect for every individual in the production process.

By supporting ethical manufacturing, we contribute to the livelihoods of communities and engage in global initiatives for a better, more sustainable world.

Comfort Colors® shirts are made with sustainable U.S.-grown cotton. By choosing this collection, you’re supporting responsible USA cotton production that optimizes water use, improves soil health and preserves natural habitats.

Comfort Colors®, uses a unique proprietary dyeing process, the recipe behind the beloved weathered hues for which Comfort Colors® has come to be known for. Built on years of research and development, Pigment Pure™ dyeing technology uses, on average, three times less water, consumes less energy and has a quicker processing time versus other traditional dyeing processes. In addition to a lower-impact dyeing process, Comfort Colors® uses 100% ring-spun U.S. cotton to make durable, long-lasting and comfortable t-shirts that are made with respect.

The manufacture that we purchase our blank apparel from continue to invest in systems, technologies, and initiatives that reduce their GHG emissions, minimize waste, optimize resources, and reduce our overall impact on the planet. They have also been a member of the Fair Labor Association (FLA) since 2003.

The manufacture is also part of the Fair Labor Association’s (FLA) data-collection tool methodology. This helps standardize the measurement criteria of wages at factories with comparable benchmarks. They also consider inflation trends related to food and housing, among other issues. This helps standardize the measurement criteria of wages at factories with comparable benchmarks.
